A very spicy curry sauce made with tomatoes, green peppers, chilies, spices and some ground almonds to give a distinct spicy sauce. Use it to make spicy curries. The sauces can be easily improved to mild or creamy curries with the addition of cream or yogurt. Delicious tip: you can also add a chopped onion and / or minced tomatoes when cooking curry.
This sauce is perfect for making a curry for 4 to 6 persons.

For a Soya Mince and Peas Curry. Soak 1 cup of soya mince in a bowl with boiled water and leave for a few minutes. Strain through a sieve and run cold water through to get rid of any remaining froth. Pour a jar of Anila’s Spicy Hot curry sauce in a saucepan and add the mince. Cook for 1-2 minutes followed by 1 jar of water and a cup of frozen peas. Simmer gently until the sauce has thickened and the peas are tender. Garnish with fresh coriander and wedges of tomatoes and serve with chappaties or naan bread.
