description
The cannery of Saint Christophe offers you to taste its artisanal recipe: natural samphire, a typical plant from the Baie de Somme that harvested by hand.
Also called glasswort, it grows naturally in the Baie de Somme on terrains that are regularly covered by the sea. Samphire has quite a tender and crisp texture and a slightly acidulous taste.
You can put them in a sandwich or a dish like pickles, or cook them like green beans.
