description

Blend of merlot and cabernet, and some other grape varieties such as the tokay, this Grappa is the only one to be allowed to bear the name "Di Bassano" (del Grappa), historical birth town of this Italian alcohol. Indeed, the four wine producers of this village exclusively work with the Capovilla distillery!

This low alcohol content grappa is a perfect initial encounter with traditional Italian pomace brandy liquors.

Your nose will be reached by expressives and complexes scents, with hints of white fruits (per), and really herbaceous. Once in your mouth, it is both flexible and dry, and pear, red grape and almond get mixed with strong floral touches. The final touch is average in length, with fruity and herbaceous feels.

Producer

Vittorio Gianni Capovilla is known worldwide as one of the best distillers.

His limitless passion for fruits led this former mechanic to a quest for the rarest and most surprising fruits across the Alps and Italy, as well as in France and Romania. Real technician in the service of nature, he has been searching since 1976, with the numerous certificates about distillation, conservation and reduction before bottling, for the perfect way to refine his liquors to get the quintessence of pomace.
