description

While it is commonplace to eat a square of chocolate, it is not the case for coffee. The transformation of cocoa beans into a chocolate bar is the result of known and mastered craftsmanship. Vincent Ferniot wished for many years to reach the same highs with coffee. Working side by side with François Pralus, they succeeded in developing two recipes: square of black coffee and milk coffee in 2018.

Made without chocolate, the square of milk coffee follows the processes that produce crunchy tablets. Coffee beans (100% Arabica) originating from Brasil are roasted then mixed with cocoa butter and sugar. The whole preparation results in a surprising tablet with a suave taste. While the taste and smell of coffee are present, its bitterness fades and gives way to a whole range of flavours.

Pralus House was founded by Auguste Pralus. He opened his first bakery in 1948 and in 1955 obtained the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France due to his high quality work. The House offers a wide range of pure raw chocolate. Know-how and the tradition of Pralus go further and today the Chocolate factory has its own plantation in Madagascar to provide an increasingly delicious range.
