There are two methods of preserving fresh herbs. It is possible to bring the bouquet and immerse them in a jar filled with water, sealed with plastic wrap, or surround them with a sheet of paper towel moistened lightly; this sheet will then be changed every day. In both cases, the herbs should be placed in the refrigerator and should be consumed within 5 days. Do not hesitate to regularly sort the bouquet to slow dry the chives bouquet. Chives can also be frozen.
