Pandoro is a Christmas cake that appeared in the XIXth century in Verona and was quickly democratised in the whole of Italy.
On the 14th of October 1894, Domenico Melegatti applied for a patent on a tender and golden coloured cake with a vanilla flavour, with a truncated cone shape of which the section is an eight branch star.

Type "00" wheat flour, fresh butter, raisins, fresh egg yolk, candied fruits (orange zest, pumpkin, lemon zest, cherries, glucose syrup, sugar), leaven (natural leaven), acacia honey, candied orange (orange zest, glucose syrup, sugar), fresh vanilla, orange, lemon, salt, barley malt.
Allergen : Gluten, egg.
May contain traces of peanuts, soybean, milk, nuts and sesame seeds.
