This is slightly spicy sauce, made with chickpeas, cream of coconut and a hint of tamarind to give a nutty taste. This sauce should be concentrated cooked with water well as meat, fish or vegetables to create a curry with ease. This sauce can be easily enhanced to make mild or creamy curries thanks the addition of cream or yogurt. Delicious tip: you can also add a chopped onion and / or chopped tomatoes when cooking curry.
This sauce is perfect for making a curry for 4 to 6 persons.

Soak 1 cup of kidney beans the night before, rinse out the next day then boil in a heavy saucepan with 3 cups of water until tender. Pour a jar of Anila’s Spicy Korma curry sauce in a saucepan and add the cooked kidney beans together with 1 cup of the remaining water. Simmer gently until the sauce has thickened. Garnish with fresh coriander and wedges of tomatoes and serve with chappaties or naan bread.
